1.) Submissive = Ephesians 5:22-24, Colossians 3:18, Ephesians 6:1
God has ordained roles and responsibilities for men and women in the marital relationship.
Roles and responsibilities have nothing to do with value.
Genesis 2:7, 18-22
Since God has assigned man this responsibility in the home, he is accountable to God for what he does with that authority.
The husband that constantly makes decisions apart from his wife’s cooperation is missing the whole point of what it is to be the head.
2.) Exemplary = 1Peter 3:1-4
A submissive wife demonstrates that she understands the roles and responsibilities commanded by God in His Word.
What does your character demonstrate to your husband?
Let your conduct convict.
Do your actions/reactions point him to Jesus?
The power of an exemplary character should never be underestimated
3.) Noble = Proverbs 31:10-31
Apart from being born again by God’s Spirit, this is impossible.
Are these qualities not worth pursuing?
