2 Corinthians 5:17
No one is immune from sin.
1) They Separated Themselves
Repentance is changing your direction based on a changed mind.
Genesis 6:18, 2 Corinthians 6:17, 1 Corinthians 5:9-11, Ephesians 5:11, 1 Thessaloinans 5:22
We need to take practical steps to separate ourselves from the things that trip us up.
2) They Joined Others Who Were Like-minded
We cannot be Christians without help.
Hebrews 10:23-25, 1 Corinthians 12:12-27
Not only do we rely on one another, we MUST!
2 Timothy 2:22
Joining others means departing from some.
1 Corinthians 15:33
Don’t want to repeat old mistakes? Get off the old path!
3) They Plotted a New Course
What God commands us to do is always for our best.
Ephesians 4:1, Luke 3:8
Are you doing what God commands you to do?
What do your daily actions and reactions say about your faith?
4) They Didn’t Neglect God’s House
When we come in, we make this the House of God.
We must take care of God’s House.
If you have been born again, you are God’s House.
John 14:15-20, 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, Hebrews 3:6, 1 Peter 2:5
Let’s plot a new course and walk in it with those who are doing the same thing.
