1.) Seeing the Greatest Need = Vs.1-5
Did you have a new normal after you were saved?
Jesus gives you new eyes to see as He does.
Mark 2:1-12, Mark 1:5
Jesus sees YOUR greatest need first.
Jesus saw what others did not.
2.) Walking in Alignment = Vs.4-6
John 9:3, Jeremiah 5:21, Matthew 13:15, John 3:3
How can I expect to see with the eyes of Jesus if I don’t walk in obedience to Him?
Walking in alignment with the Holy Spirit opens us up to everything God has for us and wants us to do.
3.) Healing in the Bible = Vs.7-8
Much of what is called a “miracle” or healing in today’s Church bears little or no resemblance to healing in the Bible.
His disease was removed and replaced by COMPLETE health and functionality.
We do not fully understand everything Christ has done for us before we are saved.
We’re still trying to fully grasp the depth and helplessness of our condition prior to being saved.
Ephesians 2:1 and 4-6
To fully understand the breadth of our healing, we must understand the depth of our sin.
How often is our expectation of Christ exceeded?
4.) The Miracle Serves the Message = Vs.8-10
Mark 5:1-20, John 9
In the Bible the goal is to get people to listen to the preaching of the Gospel!
If you are seeking miracles for the sake of miracles, you are missing the point of the miracle!
Acts 4, 2Timothy 3:12, Ephesians 2:7
YOU will forever serve as an example of the grace of God to this world and into the next.
The greatest miracle of all is the salvation of a human being.
