1.) Gender Identity with Roles and Responsibilities = Genesis 2:7 and 18-25.
God creates a “man” and a “woman”. There is “gender identity”. He creates them to be together. There are “roles and responsibilities”.
You don’t have to do this God’s way, but you don’t get to change what He has said or done.
If God defines the terms, we are responsible to live according to them.
2.) Imbalance = Matthew 19:9, Acts 15:20, Romans 1:28-32, 1Corinthians 6:18, 1Corinthians 7:2, Galatians 5:19, Ephesians 5:3, Colossians 3:5, 1Thessalonians 4:3
“Fornication” is: ANY sexual activity that is outside of what God created man and woman for.
The world around us is completely sold out for imbalance.
Christians don’t want to repress their sexuality, but neither do we want to be controlled by it.
3.) Balance = Proverbs 5:15-19, Song of Solomon 7:6-12
Once you divorce yourself from the Biblical norm, all bets are off.
Sex is not only for reproduction; it is fun, beautiful, meaningful, exciting and an important part of the “oneness” that God promises for those who want to do things His way.
You can have what you think is fun, and it will be to a point, but you cannot expect God to bless it.
Ephesians 5:22-25, 1Corinthians 7:1-9, Hebrews 13:4
4.) Love and Sex = 1Corinthians 6:12-20, Genesis 3:24, Matthew 19:5-6
If you are a Christian today, God owns you. That means you don’t get to do what you want.
God created man and woman to live in a “oneness” relationship as He defines it.
1Corinthians 13:4-7 = This is what everyone is looking for.
Everyone, heterosexual and homosexual alike, wants the same thing; the difference is we know where it comes from.
The balance is for our highest enjoyment, God’s blessing, and the oneness only possible when we do love and sex His way.
