I was born and raised in Claremont, California and was saved at Harvest Christian Fellowship in 1981. After serving at Calvary Chapel in Claremont as an assistant pastor I answered the call of God to pioneer a new Church in Half Moon Bay California in 1999. Most of my communication skills have been developed in and through my work as a professional hairstylist over the last 35 years. A friend once told me; “You shepherd the flock, and You shear them!”
I have a passion for preaching and teaching of the Word of God and have tried to build up a solid foundation for the Church and the lives of all who attend. God’s Word says that those who teach the Bible shall incur a stricter judgment (James 3:1) and I take those words seriously. I do my best in my teaching to dig deep yet retain an accessibility to even the most unchurched. My goal is not only to lead people to Christ for salvation, but also to create within the heart of each a love for God and His Word. Nothing excites me more than to see God’s people worshipping Him, studying His Word, sharing their faith and loving each other; then I know I have done my job.
My wife of 27 years, Carol, was called home to be with the Lord in February 2010 after a 2 year battle with cancer.
My ministry opened a new chapter when I married Debra Cipiti, a gift from God, in July 2012.
We live in Half Moon Bay.
My other interests include cycling, working out, photography, travel and music.
