In compliance with the “shelter in place” order from the San Mateo County Health Officer, we are suspending all church services until further notice. This is absolutely terrible, but we know that it is only temporary, and is the right move to protect the health and safety of our community. We’ll keep in touch and update you whenever we have new information.
Even though we can’t meet physically at our church, that doesn’t mean that we stop worshipping! We will continue to have Sunday morning services live streamed on the CCHMB YouTube channel. We’re working on the logistics of being able to have music, but at the very least we will continue to faithfully share God’s Word.
We are wrapping up our current Thursday night service of Church History, and will soon be starting a new series on the four Gospel books of the Bible. We will work on live streaming this as well, so stay tuned for details.
When King Jehoshaphat and the people of Israel were surrounded by the armies of the Ammon, Moab and Mt. Seir, he prayed this prayer; “For we are powerless against this great hoard that is coming against us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on YOU.” (2 Chronicles 20:12) Let’s keep our eyes on Him, not on our circumstances (although we do need to pay attention…) but rather on the greatness and purpose of our merciful God Who loves us.
Remember friends, take care of one another, and we’ll be in touch soon.
